Holy Egg, Batman!

I was once in a fabric shop during early spring, looking for just the right shade of yellow for a tablecloth, and had the sales person comment that everybody wants for yellow or orange this time of year. Well if that’s the case, then this should be exactly what the doctor ordered.

It’s gorgeous.

I preferred the multicoloured yarn, but the solid just works better for lace.

As much of a closeup as you’re going to get this time.

Lankana on ONline Linie 135 Goby, värit 101 (loimuvärjätty) ja 42. 65% puuvillaa, 35% viskoosia, 50g/85m. Huivin ohje on Sacre Coeur, suunnittelija Nim Teasdale. Tein yhden mallikerran ensimmäistä pitsikuviota ja noin kaksi mallikertaa toista.
Yarn: ONline Linie 135 Goby, shades 101 (variegated) and 42 (solid). 65% cotton, 35% viscose, gauge 50g/85m. Pattern: Sacre Coeur. I repeated the first lace pattern once, and the second ca. twice.

These colours just make me think of egg yolk, no matter what. But not in a bad way!

Those ends are LONG.

I could’ve also called it My Golden Wings. Too late now I suppose.

And the sky was so, so beautiful that day.

Ah, the sky.

The obligatory cat is behind the photographer.
